Notes: This quote is from the lyrics of a song and I did a little research on it. The story was more prevalent in 2012. January (Jani) Schofield was very intelligent for a 4-year-old, having an IQ of about 140. However, shortly after, she started having intense hallucinations about people, animals, and other things on an island she called Calalini. They were mostly named after numbers and told Jani to hurt herself or others, sometimes causing the harm themselves. At 6 years of age Jani was diagnosed with severe schizophrenia after going to see many doctors. The hallucinations are imaginary but control her life. A note to make is that Jani went under child abuse by mostly her father. The song "Calalini" was made in order to raise awareness about her disease. Calalini by Childhood Crusher-P ft. Jackie, better known as chibird, draws cute and inspirational messages and posts them on her Tumblr to inspire others. The one in the picture above is just one of many. Sometimes her posts are a bit less happy and more emotional, and sometimes they are just funny and teenager-typical. Each one is drawn in her cute and unique style. Jackie uses Photoshop and a Bamboo tablet for her drawings. Her Tumblr started out as one usually does, not well known, but soon gained popularity and followers. Jackie has shown that she is a typical girl through posting about procrastination, her love of breaks from school, and her addiction to Tumblr and the Internet. She posts things that many teenagers can relate to. Some are about expectations vs. real life or insecurities. She draws cute, small animals that give you motivation. Jackie draws little sad scenes that show the truthfulness of the world, but also hopeful ones. Some of her posts are about love. All in all, Jackie is a great artist and has a way with words. She draws herself as a short, cute girl with a little side pigtail. Truthfully, however, she is currently a sophomore in college.
